Institute of Visual Informatics (IVI)

The Institute of Visual Informatics (IVI) was officially established on 13th November 2011. IVI has 13 researchers and 12 associate researchers. All IVI researchers hold doctoral degrees.

IVI has four laboratories: the Simulation and Visual Laboratory (I-Cube), the HCI and Usability Engineering Laboratory, the Computer Vision and Image Processing Laboratory, and the Visual Intelligence Data Analytics Laboratory.

The AR-HCI Lab consists of an extended reality and HCI (Human-Computer Interaction) lab that promotes applied research in augmented reality and virtual reality, focusing on understanding people and their interactions, and translating this understanding into the design and evaluation of innovative applications, games, and systems.
